Distance Learning RDA Program

Timber Dental supports students enrolling in the Risio distance-learning Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) program.

We’re proud to help individuals in our community build stable, well-paying careers in dental - without having to leave town.

Who This Is For

How We Support You

If We Have an Open Position:

  • Opportunity for employment

  • Paid while completing your training

  • Hands-on clinical hours in our office

  • Volunteer placement to complete required program hours

  • Real-world experience in a dental practice

  • Mentorship from our team

Timber Dental
$2,500 Annual Scholarship

Timber Dental awards a $2,500 scholarship each year to a graduating student in Drayton Valley pursuing a career in the dental field. Our goal is to support local students and strengthen access to quality dental care in rural communities.

Eligibility

  • Graduating student in Drayton Valley (Wild Rose School Division)

  • Enrolled in an accredited Alberta RDA, RDH, or RDH pre-study program

Selection

  • One recipient per year

  • Priority given to students who completed work experience in our office

  • Secondary consideration based on academic achievement

The scholarship is awarded once the student has successfully started their program. A Timber Dental representative will present the award at the fall ceremony.
